You may recall that jewelry making is not what I went to school for. It only started when I began making lampwork glass beads and cabochons.

So, when I enrolled in a jewelry design course last year, I got all excited about new designs for my jewelry. One of those designs was for a bracelet using additional elements, including a bit of sparkle with CZs. I loved the design, but just could not get myself to start working on it. Sometimes the fabrication can be a bit challenging.
Finally, after enjoying some downtime in Colorado, I decided to tackle the bracelet! Going back and studying the design again, I felt there were a few things that needed changing, mostly to help me get over the hump of starting (if you know what I mean)!
Overall, I was pleased with the result, and decided to create a collection around the bracelet called Sparkling Amethyst. The cabochon has a wonderful, iridescent amethyst color, perfect for all seasons!!
